I
was born in Leamington Spa, an ancient Roman Town in England in 1967 and moved to Durban in South Africa where
we lived as a family for seven years. We then returned to England for
22 years before coming to live in Cape Town, one of the most beautiful
cities in the world in 2001. South Africa never left my soul.
I
have been a former trans-African
cyclist, British Army Officer and photo-journalist and have had 12
years of experience coaching people to achieve some great goals.
Cycling through Africa taught me a big lesson about how to
achieve goals. I came up with the slogan, "Doing what you say gets you
what you want™," which has been my motto ever since and, dollar for dollar has helped me more than almost anything in my life. Click here for my philosphy. Some
things most people probably don't know about me are that I
have a great great uncle who won two Victoria Crosses, my Dad is a
clergyman and I once cycled 1200km's as a lovestruck teenager to see a
girl in the north of Scotland, only to be ignored for the duration of
my stay! | |
