Why join The GOAL GYM?

The question to ask yourself is: What would be different in my life if I achieved my goals? How committed are you to attaining this and what support do you have to keep you on track?

There is a well-known story about Yale University students in the fifties who were surveyed on their goals. Just 3% of them had life goals. 20 years later their wealth was worth more than the entire 97% who had not set goals. You decide.

How does it work?

Using my GRASS™ methodology you will learn how to implement goal oriented structures in your life:

  1. Goals – how to set and achieve them. (If you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there!)
  2. Deal with Reality (How can I be in debt again, I was so frugal last month?)
  3. Set up an Action Plan to ensure your success (not the one you used last year!)
  4. Get and ask for Support (Why is asking for help so difficult and yet offering it so easy?)
  5. And get what you need to Step out! (Yoda in Star Wars: “do or do not. There is no try.”)
At each session you will get focus, support, clarification, coaching and motivation. What you put your attention on grows and by doing this with your goals you are sure to produce different results than if you tried to do it on your own, again!

At each session we:
  • Have a learning theme based on GRASS™ topics.
  • Each person gives a comprehensive report back on their goal actions from the week and makes commitments for the next week.
  • Additionally we have reviews, quest speakers, special events and an online forum.

Who can join?

Anybody who is serious about achieving goals. There are up to 14 participants on each GOAL GYM – you might find yourself on it for a year or two or just three months (the minimum time). The GOAL GYM is structured so that participants can join at any time. The GOAL GYM is a place you go to focus on your goals and dreams and what you need to do to achieve them.

Where?

Currently the GOAL GYM is held at the acsis Boardroom: 6th Floor, The Terraces, 25 Protea Road, Claremont. You can park in the Mont Clare building and get your ticket stamped or there is ample parking locally.

When?

08:15 for an 08:30 start until 09:30. After the GOAL GYM we have a GOAL GYM GATHERING in a local coffee shop for an hour of social networking, sharing, support and idea generation. Sessions are held weekly.

Packages and rates:

R684 (including 14% VAT) per per per month on a direct debit. GOAL GYMS happen fortnightly.

The GOAL GYM is for people who are committed to their goals and are willing to do what it takes to achieve them. We have found that the GOAL GYM works really well for people who elect to do this.
